This year, we celebrated my sweet boy turning four, and it was one of those birthdays that fills your heart in the best way. We kept things simple, cozy, and centered around what he loves most—Paw Patrol and superheroes.
The Paw Patrol Party Fun
We went all-in on a Paw Patrol–themed birthday party, and all of the decorations came straight from Walmart (easy, affordable, and adorable). From the plates and balloons to the table décor, everything tied together perfectly. He was so excited seeing his favorite pups everywhere—it instantly set the tone for a fun day.
We had cake and ice cream, a few close friends over, lots of laughter, and the kind of happy chaos that only kids can bring. Nothing over-the-top—just genuine fun, sweet moments, and memories being made.
So Many Presents & So Much Gratitude
One of my favorite moments was watching him open his gifts. He received so many presents, but what really stood out was how thankful and appreciative he was for every single one. The “thank yous,” the big smiles, the excitement—it was honestly the most adorable thing to witness and made my mama heart melt.
His Annual Birthday Room Makeover
One tradition I love keeping is giving him a room makeover for his birthday each year. This year, we switched things up with a superhero theme, and he has been absolutely obsessed with it. Seeing him light up in his refreshed space makes all the effort so worth it.
The star of the room? His Spider-Man La-Z-Boy recliner. Yes—his own recliner. He loves it so much, and it’s already become his favorite spot to relax, watch shows, and just feel like a big kid.
